The Secretariat for Missions with the headquarters of the Generalate in Rome is the "Bridge" between the Congregation and the missionary Church.
More than 1,000 requests for help come here every year from bishops, priests and religious from all over the world.
That is, only requests that meet our criteria have a description complete project and recommendation of the local bishop, are approved.
What does it do?
It identifies, animates, coordinates the missionary activities of the congregation, the projects of solidarity and missionary formation, through live and epistolary contacts with the missionaries.
It promotes evangelization which is the first service that the Church can render to all humanity.
It transmits wealth and vitality to young churches and communities of ancient Christianity through the following means: letters , articles, photos and DVDs from the missions as well as material for our publications and missionary animation.

Approve projects according to priorities:
Maintenance and formation of priests, religious, catechists, laity
Construction of churches, convents, sacred furnishings, etc.,
Printing of religious, educational books
Promotion of women, help to orphans and street children
Assistance to social needs: water, health, leprosy, AIDS ....

Per prima cosa, vorrei ringraziare Dio e la nostra Madre Generale, Selin Karikkattil, per avermi dato la grazia e l’opportunità di scoprire il meraviglioso Vietnam. Il 1° gennaio abbiamo lasciato Roma con la sua bella giornata soleggiata e ci siamo recate in aeroporto, pronte per affrontare il lungo viaggio che ci avrebbe portato alla nostra destinazione finale. Grazie a Dio il viaggio è stato molto tranquillo e piacevole.
